Doha: Ashghal in coordination with the organising committee of the FIFA Club World Cup has provided parking lots for about 10,000 cars in the vicinity of Khalifa International Stadium to facilitate the arrival of football fans to the stadium.
Fans can also reach the stadium using the recently opened Gold Line of Doha Metro. The Sport City stadium is walkable distance from the stadium.
“In coordination with the Organising Committee for the ClubWC events & the Ministry of Interior, Ashghal implements operational plans on roads to ensure smooth flow of traffic, & to facilitate the safe access of fans to Khalifa International Stadium to attend the matches,” Ashghal tweeted.
Khalifa International Stadium will tomorrow hold the match for the fifth place between Al Sadd and ES Tunis and the first semi-final between Hilal and Flamengo. The stadium will be the venue for the second semi-final on December 18 when Liverpool will take on Monterrey. The final will be held on December 22.
