Dr Soha al-Bayat, head of the Vaccination Section in the Department of Health Protection and Communicable Disease Control at the Ministry of Public Health, has called on parents not to be afraid of vaccinating their children against Covid-19. She pointed out that more than 40% of children aged 12-15 have already taken two doses of the vaccine. Dr al-Bayat hoped that the coming period will witness an increase in the number of children receiving vaccination with the return of travellers from abroad after the current holidays season. She also noted that there is a very good response to children's vaccination.
