The Ministry of Municipality's General Cleanliness Department has removed around 375 tonnes of wastes and garbage from all the stadiums that hosted the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021 matches, in addition to 31 tonnes of recyclable waste.
It is expected that around 15-20 tonnes of waste would be collected after the final match today.
The department has allocated 525 labourers, 163 drivers, 92 supervisors and 113 vehicles and equipment for work on daily basis at these sites, in addition to supplying 3,072 waste containers of various sizes.
