Doha: Doha Metro was the preferred mode of transport during the temporary closure of Corniche Street.
106,349 passengers used the metro services in the seven stations located in the Corniche area, tweeted Doha Metro, thanking the commuters for choosing its service.
Corniche Street was closed temporarily from August 6 to facilitate the completion of construction works. Both the sides of the road were opened to traffic today (August 10) early morning.
