Ooredoo announced yesterday that its Ooredoo Mobile Money service has been updated to standardise deposit limits and allows customers to deposit up to QR10,000 per day.
The new deposit limits have been changed for both Ooredoo Mobile Money Full Wallet and Mini Wallet users. Ooredoo said the changes offer “a truly easy to understand service” for customers.
With the new limits, customers can deposit a higher amount of funds in one transaction. Previously, customers had to perform multiple transactions and wait for multiple days to deposit the required amount of funds to transfer money back home.
Using an Ooredoo Self-Service Machine, the EazyPay service through QNB or an Ooredoo Shop, Ooredoo Mobile Money customers with a Full Wallet can now deposit a maximum QR10,000 per day (up from QR4,000) across all channels.
Mini Wallet users can now deposit a maximum of QR2,000 per day from any of the available options to deposit funds.
New customers can register for free for Ooredoo Mobile Money by simply visiting any Ooredoo Shop or by dialling *140#, as well as downloading the free Ooredoo Money App. Once registered, customers can begin to deposit money into their Mobile Wallet via over 200 Ooredoo Self-Service Machines or through any Ooredoo Shop.
