Online registration of students in government schools will continue until June 9: Ministry

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education noted that the electronic system for registering students in government schools will continue to be opened for the next academic year 2022/2023, until June 9.

The ministry stated that the registration process includes Qatari students, the children of Qatari women, and the children of the GCC States, from May 15 to June 9, 2022.

The registration process also includes students who are children of Qatari document holders, from May 15 to 26, as well as students who are children of residents working in ministries, government agencies, associations and charitable institutions for the same period.

The Director of Schools Affairs in the Education Affairs Sector Ali Jassim Al-Kuwari, explained that early registration continues electronically through the public service portal. It is done according to the geographical scope of the school, and according to vacancies.

In a press statement, Al-Kuwari touched on the process of early electronic registration and early electronic transfer of students in government schools for the new year 2022/2023, its stages and how it is carried out, indicating that the early electronic transfer of students between schools for all educational stages will take place according to the geographical scope of the school, and according to vacancies, it will go through two phases, the first phase targeting Qataris, children of Qatari women and children of citizens of the GCC, for the period from May 29 to June 9, 2022, and the second phase will be for all nationalities from June 5 to 9.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education previously announced the opening of early registration and early transfer electronically in public schools for the next academic year 2022/2023, on last April 24, and also indicated that students are registered in specialized and technical schools through schools, according to the registration conditions contained in the admission and registration policy.
