Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has updated visitor policy for non-COVID-19 hospitals from yesterday and visiting hours will be from 12.30pm to 8pm daily. According to the updated policy only one visitor will be allowed at a time and escorts are not allowed.
HMC has said that visitors are required to display a green Ehteraz status, wear a mask and undergo a temperature check before entry.
“Only one visitor is allowed at a time for a maximum of one hour with maximum three visitors a day during public visiting hours. Escorts are not allowed,” HMC said in its social media accounts.
Food, flowers, drinks and chocolates are not allowed to be brought into the facilities.
Children under 15 years old are not permitted to visit patients. There are no visitors permitted in the designated COVID-19 hospitals - Communicable Disease Center, Hazm Mebeireek General Hospital, The Cuban Hospital and Mesaieed Hospital.
