Doha, Qatar: The new cruise season is on the horizon, and Doha Port is gearing up to welcome a significant influx of tourists. A total of 81 cruises are expected to make port at the Old Doha Port during the 2023-24 cruise season, with eight ships preparing for their maiden voyages to Qatar.
Mwani Qatar has taken to social media to share the arrival dates and times for each cruise, building anticipation for this year's cruise season. The first ship, Crystal Symphony, is slated to make its appearance on Saturday, October 28, with an early arrival at 7 am and a departure at 6 pm on the same day.
The 2022/23 cruise season was a monumental success, with a remarkable 151% increase in the number of cruise visitors, totaling 253,191, compared to the previous season. Qatar received a total of 54 cruise calls, encompassing both transit and turnaround cruises, marking a 59% upsurge from the previous year.
