No quarantine in Morocco for vaccinated visitors from Qatar

People arriving in Morocco from Qatar are exempted from quarantine provided they are vaccinated against Covid-19, Qatar's embassy in Rabat has said in a social media notification.

This comes into effect at 11.59pm on July 6 as part of Morocco's updated travel regulations.

Morocco has issued two lists, A and B, for different countries. In its notification yesterday, the embassy said travellers from List B (which includes Qatar) are required to submit a negative result of a PCR test done no more than 48 hours before travel, indicating that they are classified in two categories:

1. Holders of a certificate proving that they are fully vaccinated with any of the Covid-19 vaccines accepted in Morocco, are exempted from quarantine.

2. Persons who have not yet received the vaccine, or who are not fully vaccinated, must undergo 10-day quarantine at their own expense at designated places.

The vaccines accepted in Morocco are AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Sputnik, Pfizer/Biontech, Johnson & Johnson (Jannsen), Covishield, Moderna and Sinovac.
