The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) on Sunday cautioned those who go to the open areas not to enter the natural reserves and green areas by cars. The motorists should cross the areas using paved roads only, the Ministry said in a tweet. This is in view of preserving the natural plants and shrubs that are growing back after the good rain the country received this week, MoECC said.
The Ministry also called on livestock and farm owners to not have their livestock graze in the meadows for 20 days.
