Al Sheehaniyah Municipality’s Municipal Affairs Department conducted 1,589 inspection tours in July, it was announced yesterday.
These included 313 inspection tours on food facilities, 450 general inspection tours, and 796 technical inspection tours.
These inspection campaigns resulted in spotting 46 abandoned vehicles, issuing nine violation reports, 11 reports for encroachment on state property, 82 warning to the violators to remove their various violations, and seven pledges were signed not to repeat the violations.
In addition, the department issued 11 building completion certificates, eight excavation permits and three certificates for completed digging.
In the meantime, the Ministry of Municipality and Environment’s Agriculture Research Department is set to conduct a field training programme on August 28 to introduce the best ways to dry dates at Rawdat Al Faras Agriculture Research Station.
A good number of farm owners and employees are expected to take part in the programme.
