Qatar's ambassador to Russia Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser al-Thani has inaugurated the meetings of representatives of the "Qatari-Russian Tourism Sector" organised by the Tourism Directorate of the Government of the Russian capital, Moscow.
During the meetings, held via videoconference, the participants reviewed means of enhancing prospects for co-operation between Qatar and Russia in this field.
Speaking at the meetings, the ambassador emphasised the importance of such events and their role in enhancing co-operation between the two countries.
He gave a brief presentation about the most important stages of relations between Qatar and Russia, hoping that there will be a significant increase in the flow of tourists to Qatar from various countries of the world, including Russia.
He also expressed thanks to the Moscow government for organising these meetings, wishing the participating businessmen from both sides success in their work.
