The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) will observe World Teachers' Day on Tuesday.
The event will be under the slogan 'Messenger of Knowledge.. Thank you' at the Four Seasons Doha from 10am in the presence of the ministry's high officials and other dignitaries.
MoEHE observes the day annually while celebrating the role of teachers and in appreciation of their efforts in the educational system in Qatar. During the celebrations, 100 male and female teachers who have spent more than 30 years in the teaching profession are honoured.
