MoEHE concludes Arabic Language contests for academic year 2022-2023

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has wrapped up the activities of the Arabic language contest for the academic year 2022-2023.

Organised by the Educational Guidance Department at MoEHE, the activities aimed to promote the teaching process of Arabic language and revive its status.

In this regard, the Department of Arabic Language honoured 61 male and female students who participated in the contests of Arabic spelling, creative writing (Short story, essay, Poetry Analysis) and future radio presenter.

Arabic language guidance consultant at MoEHE Hassan Murshid Al Nuaimi asserted that the department strives to preserve the status of Arabic of language and advance it through activities and contests that support the educational process, pointing out that the Arabic language department recognizes the importance of school activities in bolstering these abilities and talents.

He noted the efforts undertaken by the schools’ departments and teachers of Arabic language, thanking the parents for their appreciated contributions in supporting and implementing these efforts.

For her part, Arabic language guidance consultant at MoEHE Nadia Al Musifri gave a briefing about the project of protecting the Arabic language for the academic year 2022-2023, which stemmed from the Arabic language department’s vision, in the activation of the law No. 7 of 2019, on the protection of Arabic language, outlining that the project aims to instill the love for Arabic language in the heart of students.
