Doha: The Ministry of Municipality and Environment represented by the Office of the Assistant Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs held two workshops to introduce the procedures and requirements for issuing an electoral campaign licence.
The workshops were held in accordance with Law No. (6) of 2021 regarding the organisation of the Shura Council elections and Law No. (1) of 2012 regarding the regulation and control of advertisements.
The events were organised with the participation of technical affairs departments in the municipalities, the coordinators and those approved by the advertising licensing system, as well as the customer service offices in the municipalities.
The procedures and requirements that have been prepared and the design of all forms for these advertising licenses have been explained during the workshops.
The two workshops were organized by the Consultative Council elections follow-up team in the office of the Assistant Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs, which includes. The team comprised of Nasser Abdul Rahman Al Sarami, Eng. Khaled Suleiman Al Khalifa, Iman Mohamed Hamdi Ibrahim, Muhammad Abdul Hamid Radwani.
