Ministry reports 17 new coronavirus cases in Qatar; total now 337

Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) today announced 17 new confirmed cases of coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19) in Qatar taking the total number of cases to 337.

“New cases relate to previously discovered cases among expatriate workers who are quarantined. The new cases have been introduced to complete isolation, and they are very healthy and receiving necessary medical care,” MoPH said in a statement.

Till now 6,788 people have been tested for Covid-19 in Qatar.

“The Ministry of Public Health continues to expand the search departments and conduct necessary checks for everyone who has been in contact with confirmed cases,” it added.
