MINI City on display at Villaggio Mall

Alfardan Automobiles, the official MINI importer in Qatar, unveiled the interactive MINI City experience at Villaggio Mall in Doha.

The MINI City display, open until October 11, offers ‘great value-additions’ to customers looking to purchase the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman as well as the MINI 3-Door and 5-Door Hatch.

The host of special offers and additional service benefits include MINI service for five years/60,000kms and three years’ warranty on unlimited mileage, one year’s free insurance, registration, window tinting as well as a folding MINI bicycle and a one night’s stay in the luxurious Marsa Malaz Kempinski Hotel on The Pearl-Qatar.

The MINI City has five different districts; MINI District, MINI Connected, MINI Art; MINI Beach and MINI Customise.

MINI District, inspired by the age old Monopoly game, allows fans to play the MINIPOLY board to be in with the chance of winning a MINI to drive for a week, or send a personalised post card to their loved ones from a London post-box.

At MINI Beach, fans can kick back with a mocktail and experience the laid-back side of MINI. MINI Connected is a cozy and connected space where the latest in VR technology takes visitors on an immersive journey, bringing to life the MINI experience. At MINI Art, fans can discover their MINI personality and reveal a personalised message at an RGB colour combination wall. And at MINI Customise, guests who create their own personalised MINI might see their design chosen to be featured on the stand’s big screens.

“The MINI City, a unique stand that portrays the different characteristics of MINI, is another great activation that we have brought to Qatar, which further reinforces our position as the undisputed MINI specialists in the region,” said Ihab Allam, general manager

of Alfardan Automobiles.

MINI enjoyed an excellent start to 2016 with the MINI 3-Door Hatch, a consistent bestseller, logging an increase of 19% whilst the MINI 5-Door variant recorded an upswing of 15% in sales over the same period in 2015.

In addition, Qatar’s MINI enthusiasts helped Alfardan Automobiles to retain its pole position in the sales of John Cooper Works models regionally by opting for the high-performance range.  The all-new MINI Convertible, which was unveiled in the region at the Qatar Motor Show, witnessed an exceptional start to the year with a 700% rise in sales since its debut in January 2016.
