Military drill concluded in Turkey

The 'Defence Against Chemical, Biological and Radiological Weapons' military drill which was launched on Nov 3 concluded on Sunday in Antalya, Turkey, with the participation of Qatar's Defence Unit Against Weapons of Mass Destruction in the Armed Forces, a number of friendly countries, and Nato forces. This is the first participation of the Defence Unit with Nato forces in a military drill.

The exercises included participation in the detection and reconnaissance of weapons of mass destruction, and the clearing of personnel, aircraft and mechanisms, with the aim of raising the readiness in preparation for the 2022 World Cup, in addition to learning and benefiting from the experiences of the participating countries.
