Milipol Qatar 'showcases latest innovations of homeland security'

Qatar Chamber is participating in the activities of the Milipol Qatar 2021 exhibition, which has gathered 143 local and international exhibiting companies, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Organised by the Ministry of Interior (MoI) in co-operation with Paris-based international event organiser Comexposium, the exhibition showcases the latest innovations in the homeland security and civil defence.

Through its booth at the expo, Qatar Chamber is highlighting its services for the business community, companies, and its members.

It also offers information about doing businesses in Qatar, in addition to the investment climate and other issues related to the private sector.

Qatar Chamber chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohamed al-Thani participated in the exhibition’s opening ceremony.

He also toured the pavilions of participating companies, where he was briefed on the products and innovations in the fields of internal security.

During the tour, Sheikh Khalifa stressed the importance of Milipol, noting that the exhibition is “one of the most leading fairs” specialised in technologies for homeland security in the region.

He called on Qatari businessmen and companies to visit the exhibition, and stressed that it offers “a great opportunity” for local companies to learn more about the homeland security sector, especially on cyber-security and the latest innovations in the field of public safety.

“The expo represents a link between global manufacturers, users, and security and safety experts,” he added.
