Doha: On its weather forecast for the weekend, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) warned of thundery rain and strong wind expected in some areas on Thursday, September 2. Visibility during the rains will also likely be less.
For Friday and Saturday, the department also forecasted hazy to misty weather conditions at some places at first, followed by hot daytime with clouds, and humid nights.
The minimum and maximum temperature this weekend will range from 31 degrees Celsius to 43 degrees Celsius.
The wind during the weekend will blow mainly southwesterly to southeasterly at 5-15 KT.
Sea heights will range from 1-2 ft inshore and 1-3 ft offshore.
The visibility during the weekend will mainly range between 4-9 km/ 3km or less at some places at first.
