The competitions of the 13th edition of Qatar International Falcons and Hunting (Marmi 2022) are set to start Saturday at Sbkhat Marmi in the Sealine Area. Being held under the patronage of HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani, the event will continue until January 29.
Ali bin Khatim al-Mehshadi, head of the organising committee of Marmi 2022, and chairman of Al Qannas Qatari Society, said that the prequalification competitions will continue until January 9 with the participation of 44 groups. The timing of the final and mid-finals will be determined later.
The official also stressed that preventive and precautionary measures against the Covid-19 will be enforced strictly at all the stages and events of the festival.
