Substantial quantities of local agriculture, poultry and livestock products were sold last week at the various yards of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment. These included 22,500 boxes of vegetables, 29,600 tonnes of fruits, 5.2 tonnes of fish, and 618 tray of locally produced eggs. Such sales were made at the three yards at Al Mazrouah, Al Khor, and Al Wakrah. Other sales included 1,175 domestic birds, 77kg bee honey, 26kg local butter, 329 litres of milk and fruit juices, and 259 goats and sheep.
