Doha, Qatar: Lusail International Circuit (LIC) will once again host the MENA Karting Championship Nations Cup from December 17-21, 2024. This exciting event will bring top karting talent from the Middle East and North Africa region to Qatar, the region's motorsports hub.
Building on the success of last year’s championship, which saw 165 drivers from 15 countries compete, the 2024 edition promises even more thrilling action and fierce competition. Racers will compete in six categories, ranging from Micro Max (ages 8-11) to DD2 Masters (31+), highlighting the diverse karting talent in the MENA region.
Last year’s event saw Morocco claim the overall MENA Nations Cup, with the United Arab Emirates and Qatar taking second and third places, respectively. The 2024 championship aims to build on this success, providing a platform for drivers to showcase their skills on an international stage.
Spectators can look forward to an action-packed schedule featuring practice sessions, qualifying heats, and intense finals across all categories. The event will kick off with an opening ceremony and drivers’ parade, celebrating the diversity and unity of the participating nations.
