King of Jordan meets FM

* FM reviews ties, regional issues with Jordan leaders

  

Jordanian King Abdullah II bin al-Hussein met Monday in Amman with HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani. At the beginning of the meeting, HE Sheikh Mohamed conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani to the Jordanian king and His Highness' wishes of good health and happiness to His Majesty, and to the government and people of Jordan continued progress and prosperity. For his part, the king conveyed his greetings to the Amir, wishing him good health and happiness, and Qatar continued progress, development and prosperity.

During the meeting, bilateral relations were reviewed, and His Majesty was briefed on the latest developments related to bilateral co-operation and regional issues.

HE Sheikh Mohamed also met with Jordanian Prime Minister Dr Bishr al-Khasawneh and Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr Ayman al-Safadi.

During the meetings, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations, ways of developing friendship bonds, and the achievements made between the two countries at the political and economic levels, in addition to coordination in regional issues, especially the Palestinian issue. Page
