Katara to open some beaches for visitors from July 1

Doha: Katara is planning to open some beaches for visitors from July 1 when the second phase of gradual lifting of Covid-19 restrictions kicks in.

Katara CEO Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti said in a tweet that Katars beaches No: 3, 4 and 5 will be ready for visitors from July 1.

The timings and other precautionary measures are not yet announced.

Second phase of gradual lifting of Covid-19 restrictions in the country starts from July 1.

In second phase 50% of employees in both government and private sector will resume work from offices, restricted opening of restaurants, opening of museums, libraries with limited capacity for specific hours and also opening of wholesale markets with limited capacity for specific hours.
