The Public Parks Department at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), in co-operation with Qatar Chess Association (QCA), organised an event at Al Huwaila Park in Madinat Khalifa South as part of the initiative to plant 1mn trees. Present on the occasion were Mohamed Ali al-Khouri, director of the Public Parks Department, and Mohamed Abbas, head of the public parks sections at Doha Municipality, along with Mohamed Ahmed al-Mudahka, president of QCA, and Hamad al-Tamimi, executive director of the federation.
