India announces 21 repatriation flights from Doha to 10 cities from June 9

Doha: Indian External Affairs Ministry has published on their website the list of flights from Doha to various Indian cities as part of repatriation efforts by the Indian government to get stranded Indians back home.

As per the website there will be 21 flights starting from June 9 to June 19 to 10 airports in 5 states of India.

The airports serviced by the Air India Express flights are Kannur (3), Trivandrum (4), Kozhikode (4), Kochi (4), Trichy, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Madurai and Coimbatore.

Indian Embassy has not listed the flights details yet and it is the embassy which finalizes the passenger lists for the flights on the basis of registrations made on the Embassy website for this purpose. They have also setup special committee for different regions of India to come up with the list of passengers.  

Till today, 17 flight have left Doha to various Indian cities bringing the total number of repatriated passengers to 2828, plus 76 infants, Indian Embassy said in a Tweet.
