HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad al-Thani, vice chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation (QF), joined senior QF officials at Education City Mosque yesterday to help prepare and distribute Iftar food packs. The daily Iftars, attended by many construction workers from around the country, are being hosted by Education City Mosque in collaboration with ‘Friends of Al Shaqab’ volunteer programme. The month-long initiative demonstrates QF’s commitment to addressing the needs of the wider community and reflects its overarching Ramadan themes — mercy, honesty, generosity, and tolerance — which are aligned with QF’s recently-announced Akhlaquna Award.
