Hotter days ahead, says Met forecast

A noticeable rise in temperatures is expected in the country from tomorrow until the end of this week, the Qatar Met department has said. The temperature will be 3-4C higher than the usual average, and the maximum is expected to reach 45C in Doha and beyond that especially in the central and southern regions, according to a post by the Met department on social media on Sunday. Meanwhile, hazy and humid conditions continued in the country yesterday and the weather office said poor horizontal visibility (2km or less) is once again expected today due to hazy to misty conditions and a chance of fog in some places in the early hours, both inshore and offshore. A hot daytime and humid conditions by night are also forecast today, the weather report states. The temperature is expected to range from 30-42C in Doha today.
