Doha: On its weather forecast for the weekend, Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) predicted hot weather conditions during daytime accompanied with some clouds and humid nights.
The minimum and maximum temperature this weekend will range from 32 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius.
On Friday and Saturday, the wind will blow less than 5 KT at first becomes northwesterly to northeasterly at 5-15 KT reaching to 18 KT at some places during daytime.
Sea heights on both days will vary between 1-3 ft and the visibility will range from 4-9 kilometres.
As the country continues to face hot weather conditions, QMD has shared a few tips to ensure safety during this period.
QMD recommends the following:
1. Wearing comfortable, light-colored clothes to reflect the sun's light.
2. Drink enough fluids.
3. Children to not to be left alone in the car.
4. Workers in exposed/outdoor places should take breaks in the shade.
