Doha: Ashghal has announced full temporary road closure on Grand Hamad Street starting from Friday (December 31) for three months.
Al Fanar Junction will be closed completely, in addition to a full temporary road closure on Abdullah Bin Jassem Street.
The closure is to enable the works for the Central Doha & Corniche Beautification Project with the coordination of the Traffic Department.
Commuters using Al Corniche Road can use alternative roads such as A Ring Road Street and Jasim Bin Mohammed Street and Ali Bin Abdullah Street and avoid using inner roads to reach their destination.
Meanwhile on Nuaija Junction, D Ring Road there will be a closure for 24 hours between Friday morning, December 31 at 2 am until Saturday morning, January 1, 2022, at 2 am. Traffic will be diverted via the free-right turns at the Junction. Motorists can use the parallel service road to reach their destinations. Ashghal will use the appropriate signs to guide the road users on this closure and advise them to follow the speed limit, to maintain their safety.
