Forbes Hair Guard ق€˜reduces hair fallق€™

The Forbes Hair Guard helps remove excess chlorine present in water and thereby reduce hair fall, the local distributor of the product has said in a press statement.

Besides tackling the problem of excess chlorine in the country’s water, it also improves hair shine and reduces premature greying.

The Forbes Hair Guard is distributed in Qatar exclusively by Digital Innovation, a group company of Video Home & Electronic Centre.

It is available across all Jumbo Electronics showrooms, Spark Lifestyle Electronics, and leading hypermarkets in the country.

“Hair is made of three key components – protein (keratin), oil (sebum), and pigment (melanin). The presence of chlorine in bathing water damages these components by reacting with each of them. A reaction with protein increases hair fall, while oil reduces hair shine, and pigments increases greying,” the statement explained.

The Forbes Hair Guard comes with a patented KDF filter cartridge that removes 95% chlorine, chemicals and heavy metals from the water.

This cartridge is equipped with multi-layer filtration and gives “odourless, safe and good-quality bathing water that promotes hair care”.

The Forbes Hair guard cartridge is “easily replaceable” and gives 1,000 litres of safe water.

The Hair Guard is also easily installed, connecting directly to a shower or a tap.
