HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met yesterday with Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of National Accord Mohamed al-Taher Siala, and Minister of Interior in Libya’s Government of National Accord Fathi Ali Bashagha and their accompanying delegation on the occasion of their visit to the country. During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral co-operation, and the latest developments in Libya. HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed Qatar’s support for the Government of National Accord, stressing the need for the Libyan parties to implement the Skhirat Agreement, Security Council resolutions, and the results of the Berlin Conference to reinforce the course of a political solution to the crisis. HE Sheikh Mohamed reiterated Qatar’s welcome to the ceasefire agreement in all Libyan territories, stressing full support for Libya’s sovereignty, unity and stability.
