Fans need to pay for Qatar 2022 first phase tickets before March 21: FIFA

Doha: Fans who have been allocated tickets for FIFA World CUP Qatar 2022 need to pay for the same before March 21, 13:00 Doha Time.  

“The random selection draw sales period of Sales Phase (1) for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 generated huge demand around the world. Fans who have been allocated tickets based on the ticket applications submitted during this sales period and want to secure their seats to avoid missing out on a once-in-a-lifetime experience must PAY FOR THEIR TICKETS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE, FROM 11:00 CET/13:00 DOHA TIME ON 8 MARCH AND BY NO LATER THAN 11:00 CET/13:00 DOHA TIME ON 21 MARCH. Otherwise, all tickets allocated to them will be cancelled,” FIFA posted on their website.

They have also given two links for international and Qatar fans to pay for the allotted tickets.

FIFA also mentioned that it is not possible to apply for tickets during this period.

Fans across the globe have proven their enthusiasm ahead of football’s biggest celebration as 17 million ticket requests were received in the first sales period of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which lasted just 20 days. The largest number of applicants came from the host country.

During the opening random selection draw sales period, FIFA was also inundated by applications from football hotbeds and key markets, such as Argentina, Brazil, England, France, India, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the USA.

The most sought-after tickets were for the final on 18 December at Lusail Stadium, with 1.8 million requests for that match alone.
