Dr. Ganesh Shenoy’s two abstract artworks titled "Devil’s World" and "Inhabitants of Hell" won the Finalist award in ART SHOW INTERNATIONAL GALLERY’s 6th ABSTRACT international juried art competition. There were more than 650 entries from artists around the world, and 247 artists from 42 countries were selected for international exhibition and awards. The criteria for selection of artworks for awards/exhibition were ingenuity, uniqueness of the work, and the artistic message conveyed through abstraction.

"Devil’s World" is an acrylic painting on a 21 X 29.7 cm canvas, and "Inhabitants of Hell" is a watercolor painting on a 15 cm X 21 cm paper card. These works are the artist's interpretation of "hell" which he sees as a bleak world created by religions to keep people from committing sins.

Ganesh Shenoy uses many mediums and styles while painting. His favourite styles are pointillism, kinetic pointillism, optical illusion, mosaic, and expressionism. In the year 2020, he set a world record for his artwork, "most miniature paintings on a small paper card". He painted 1156 miniature paintings on a small paper card measuring 17 cm X 17 cm, and each miniature painting measures 0.5 cm X 0.5 cm, setting the world record for most miniature paintings ever painted on a small paper card. The same artwork was approved by the Golden Book of World Records as a world record in 2021.

In the year 2019, he broke both India and Asia's records in the field of fine art by creating 1029 miniature paintings, with 775 miniature paintings sized 1cm × 0.5cm and the remaining 254 paintings sized 1cm ×1cm, drawn on a single A4 paper card using colored pencils and acrylic colors.

Ganesh has never sold his paintings for personal gain. He always donates his paintings to philanthropic organizations so that they can sell them and utilize the proceeds for charity work. Ganesh Shenoy is from Mangalore, India and has been a resident of Doha, Qatar since 2007.
