Domasco launches 2018 Honda City

Doha Marketing Services Company (Domasco), distributor of Honda vehicles in Qatar, has announced the launch of the “restyled and refined” 2018 Honda City.

The Honda City has undergone “total refinement, making it more premium and sportier - which conforms to Honda’s New Design Direction”, Domasco has said in a press statement.

With three grades, DX, LX and EX, the 2018 City echoes the same philosophy of advanced sporty design, best comfort and best fuel efficiency in the category.

The new City now comes with a host of new design elements and safety features and offers greater driving dynamics, performance and efficiency and is great value for money. The 2018 City boasts of a completely restyled front fascia with the new honeycomb grille giving it a bold and aggressive look.

The new LED Day Time Running Lights, standard in all grades, add luxury and class.

Front Fog Lights (only in the EX grade) with their wide and low beam enhance visibility, cutting through dusty weather conditions or heavy fog.

In addition to the front exterior changes, the rear bumper has been given a premium feel.

Another exterior feature change is the new ‘Diamond Cut’-styled alloy wheels..

The craftsmanship in the 2018 City creates thoughtful interiors based on the ‘Man Maximum, Machine Minimum’ philosophy.

With a new interior colour of black, the 2018 City contains a grand cabin space, extensive leg room, rear AC ducts and an ergonomically designed cockpit, the statement notes.

One of the new features is the rear wide view camera, which gives a wide view of the rear of the car every time one shifts to reverse.

All the three grades are powered with a 1.5L SOHC i-VTEC Petrol engine, which delivers “outstanding fuel economy” and a maximum power of [email protected],600rpm, followed by a maximum torque of [email protected],600rpm.

This engine is mated to the new generation CVT transmission with a fuel consumption of 20km per litre.

The 2018 City’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) body enhances self-protection while mitigating damage to other vehicles in the event of a collision hereby enhancing occupant protection.

Other safety features include Anti-Lock Brakes, Vehicle Stability Assist, Emergency Brake Assist and Electronic Brake Force Distribution.

The new 2018 Honda City comes with three years/100,000km warranty as standard.

Prices start at QR58,999 for the DX model, QR61,999 for the LX model and QR65,999 for the EX.
