Doha Municipality's Health Control Section has carried out 613 inspection tours covering New Doha, Fareej Abdulaziz, and Msheireb, as part of intensifying inspection and control efforts on the various food outlets and retailers.
The campaign resulted in issuing 40 violation reports according to law no 8 for 1990 on the regulation of human food control. A number of meetings were held with the workers at these places to raise their awareness about the necessary health conditions for their work and the healthy ways of handling food.
