Preview service of Doha Metro changed the prime mode of transportation in the country and now there are numbers to prove the same.
Doha Metro yesterday welcomed the 10 millionth passenger on its service.
"We were pleased today to welcome the 10 Million passenger on board of Doha Metro. We thank you for your trust, which drives us to deliver the best services," tweeted Qatar Rail on its social media along with a picture of the passenger.
Since its launch, the metro changed the way how Qatar travels. From shopping to family outing Metro trains transformed the commuting habits.
Ever since the launch of Red, Gold and Green Lines, travel became cheaper, easier and quicker.
Starting today, January 16, the metro extends service hours for Thursday and Fridays to 11:59 pm.
As the popularity of the Metro grows with more people using it for commuting to work, late night trains will help those getting back from work after late shifts.
