Qatar Rail has announced that Doha Metro operations on the Red Line will be replaced with alternative services on Friday.
This is due to an ongoing programme of essential system upgrades across the network, according to a tweet on the Doha Metro & Lusail Tram Twitter page.
Accordingly, replacement buses will operate every five minutes between Ras Bu Fontas and Lusail QNB stations.

The replacement buses, however, will not stop at Al Wakra and Katara Metro stations.
A shuttle service will also run every 15 minutes between the Hamad International Airport (HIA) and Ras Bu Abboud.
