Doha: Due to the FIFA Club World Cup match football match this evening at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium (Al Sadd stadium), Doha Metro is extending the hours of operation at night. Metro tweeted that the commuters should complete their journey by 0100 hrs (1am).

The nearest station to the stadium is the Al Sudan station on the Gold line, which is a short walk away from the stadium where at 8.30 pm Qatar champions Al Sadd will take on Oceania champions Hienghene Sport in the first match of the FIFA Club World Cup. Doha Metro also said that there will access restrictions at Al Sudan station due to the match.

“Due to the 11th December match at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, there will be access restrictions at Al Sudan station. Parking P57 will be available at the station. The drop off area will not be accessible. If you wish to drop off metro users please use alternative Metro stations,” Doa Metro tweeted.

Doha Metro is offering free Day Pass to all ticket holders of FIFA Club World Cup. Fans with tickets can collect their “complimentary Day Pass on match days as soon as stations are open and use it to travel anywhere all day, as well as to and from the match.”

Sport City station on Gold Line is the nearest station for Khalifa International Stadium where the semi-finals and final will held.
