Doha, Qatar: Welcoming the Holy Month of Ramadan, the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram have introduced a convenient Ramadan weekly pass, providing unlimited rides for just QR30.
This special pass is available from March 11 to April 11, 2024, allowing passengers to enjoy unlimited travel throughout the week. Announced through their social media channels, the transportation service encourages commuters to discover various Ramadan events across the city.
"Discover the diverse Ramadan events across the city – from vibrant night bazaars to enlightening Islamic classes and exhilarating sports activities. With the Ramadan Weekly Pass, enjoy unlimited rides for 7 days at a mere 30 QAR. Purchase yours now from March 11 to April 11, 2024, at Travel Card vending machines located in all stations!" the announcement stated.
Additionally, Qatar Rail had previously announced extended operating hours for the metro and tram during Ramadan. Services will run from 6 am to 1 am, Saturday through Thursday, and from 2 pm until 1 am on Fridays.
