Doha Bank recently hosted an informative cancer awareness session for team members as part of its strong commitment to the well-being of its employees.
Hosted by the Qatar Cancer Society, the event was aimed at educating and increasing awareness about cancer, its symptoms, and prevention.
Members of Doha Bank’s senior management team and staff from across various departments and branches gathered at the auditorium in the bank’s headquarters in Doha for the session.
“At Doha Bank, the health and well-being of our staff are of paramount importance. Education and awareness are key to fighting disease, and we are pleased to offer this enlightening session to our dedicated team,” said Sheikh Mohamed Fahad J al-Thani, acting chief Human Resources officer.
“We remain fully committed to ensuring that our staff have access to the latest information on cancer, and will continue to emphasise the important role a healthy and active lifestyle plays in its prevention. Doha Bank is an employee-driven organisation, as highlighted by our wide range of initiatives including our famous yearly Al Dana Green Run, recognised as the biggest CSR event in Qatar.”
