Doha Bank celebrates Qatar National Day

Doha Bank marked Qatar National Day 2019 by participating in cultural festivities in celebration of this glorious day.

The bank’s participation in Darb Al Saai aimed to spread the spirit of joy and pride among people of different ages and nationalities gathered to commemorate the country’s unification in 1878.

Different festivities including folk dance and national songs were held in celebration of Qatar rich history and traditions, in addition to the values of brotherhood and unity. The headquarters of Doha Bank was also covered in a bright colour of the national flag in white and purple red (burgundy). During the day, guests enjoyed a range of traditional Qatari food and sweets.

Celebrating this occasion, the Board of Directors of Doha Bank gathered in the presence of chairman Sheikh Fahad bin Mohamed bin Jabor al-Thani, deputy chairman Ahmed Obaidan Fakhro, and managing director Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Mohamed bin Jabor al-Thani.

Sheikh Fahad said, “On the occasion of the National day, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and greetings to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, our customers, stakeholders, partners, colleagues and the people of Qatar of different nationalities and backgrounds. This great nation is built on unity, devotion and ideal beliefs, which we are proud to celebrate every year during this

festive day in our country.”

Sheikh Abdul Rehman said, “It gives me immense pleasure in joining the country’s citizens and residents in celebrating this great day to celebrate the progress and prosperity Qatar has achieved to the date. The National Day is a perfect opportunity to reflect on our history, culture and traditions and show our respect and appreciation to our esteemed leaders for their tireless efforts in developing this nation as we see it today.
