Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced an eight-month closure from Saturday for traffic coming from Al Hanaa Street towards Thani Bin Jasim Street in Al Gharrafa.
The closure, to be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, is to complete the work of developing the intersection in the area.
During the closure, those coming from Al Hanaa Street and wishing to turn will have to continue directly to Al Markhiya Street and take a U-turn at the next sign to reach their destinations as shown on the map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requested road users to abide by the existing speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
