The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced the closure of northbound traffic on Al Waab Bridge on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor for 30 hours, from 11pm tomorrow until 5am on Saturday.
The closure, which will be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, has been announced in order to allow for the completion of the project works there.
Travellers heading towards Al Rayyan from Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor (northbound) can use the Al Waab signalised junction while keeping southbound traffic open on the Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor Bridge towards Hamad International Airport, Ashghal has explained.
The authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure.
It has requested all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
