CCQ announces implementation of second phase of on-campus attendance

The Community College of Qatar (CCQ) has announced the implementation of the second phase of on-campus full attendance during fall 2021-2022, starting from Monday.

This is in accordance with the announcement of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) to start on-campus full attendance as part of the gradual lifting of restrictions imposed in Qatar on account of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

The college pointed out that all lectures will be held on-campus for the sections that includes 20 students or fewer in both the morning and evening shifts, as well as the sections with a lab component.

The college stressed that the CCQ’s attendance and absence policy will be applied to all students, except for those who are currently abroad for treatment or on official missions or working students who have registered for morning courses, and are expected to graduate in the current fall semester.

Further, the college will exempt students who have acceptable excuses from penalties of withdrawal from the fall semester 2021, upon submission of the supporting documentation.

Only fully-vaccinated students, with their Ehteraz in green and gold frame, will be allowed on campus.

Students who did not complete the second dose or did not take the vaccine, are obligated to undergo a rapid antigen test accredited by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).
