Barwa Bank has announced the names of the most recent round of draw winners for Thara’a, its Shariah-compliant savings account.
Megahed Attia and Sufyan Hamid each won a cash prize of QR10,000. The winners of the cash prize worth QR5,000 are the following: Mohamed Dadosh, Nishamul Arakkal, Mohamed al-Dosari, Shawk Shahbal, Mahmoud Abdelbary, Mohd Alyafei, Wasmiya al-Haslan, Eleen Elbatneagy, Abdulaziz al-Kuwari, Taoufik Jeddi, Suba Ebrahim, Saif al-Sulaiti, Alaeddine Moumeni, Hassan al-Mutawa, Abdulla al-Hamadi, Aiman Eltaweel, Salma Abdulaziz, Saifullah Ali, Abdulla Mohamed, Wadha al-Naimi, Sabeeka al-Kubaisi, Emadelden Mahmoud, Ali Almarri, Ayman Chaabane, Abdulrahman Alyafei, Nasreddine Bouhani, Mohamed Sibai, Fadi Hasan, Adeeba al-Sulaiti, Mohamed Ahel, Fatima Musa, Iman Abulawi, Diego Gonzalez, Okba Alekesh, Amna al-Muhannadi, Abdullatif al-Mahmoud, M Sabai, Shaima Alyafei, Chaymaa Afroukh, Hessa al-Abduljabar, Abdulla al-Kobaisi, and Sara Almufarfish. The draw was conducted under the supervision of a representative of the qualitative license and market control department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
On a monthly basis, there are 42 winners per draw for the cash prize of QR5,000 each, as well as two winners per draw for the cash prize of QR10,000.
Additionally, quarterly there are two winners per draw for the cash prize of QR25,000 each, two winners per draw for the cash prize of QR50,000 each, and yearly there is one winner of the grand prize of QR1mn, rewarding 365 winners in total with cash prizes up to QR3.29.
