Doha: The Qatar Calendar House (QCH) has announced that according to the calculations by astronomers the crescent of the month of Muharram for 1443 AH will be born next Monday, and that Sunday, August 8, 2021 AD, is the end of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, 1442 AH.
Eng Faisal Mohamed al-Ansari, Executive Director of Sheikh Abdullah Al Ansari Complex said that the crescent moon Muharram 1443 will be born on Sunday Aug. 8, 2021 at 4:51 pm, adding that the crescent of Muharram will disappear from the skies of Doha on Monday Aug. 5 at 6:51 pm, which means the new crescent will set after sunset time by a period of 14 minutes in the skies of Doha, while this period will increase in the skies of Arab and Islamic countries as we move West.
