The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary traffic closure on Omar Al Mukhtar Street heading towards Al Dafna Street for two weeks, starting Friday. The closure will be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic for the completion of infrastructure and road development works as part of the Development of West Bay North project, Ashghal has said. The entrance from Omar Al Mukhtar Street to Al Dafna Street will be closed fully towards Baleshtoor Street. Road users should use Al Tawaweesh Street towards Al Dafna Street and turn left to reach Balhambar Street, and then right to Baleshtoor Street.
