The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a 8 hours closure on East Industrial Street between Khalid Bin Ahmad Interchange and East Street 23 for traffic coming from Al Furousiya Street via Khalid Bin Ahmad Interchange underpass on Friday from 2 to 10 am. The closure that will be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic has been announced in order to install a new pedestrian bridge structure on East Industrial Street.
Road users heading for Hamad Port via East Industrial Street can use the parallel service road and local routes or use Salwa Road then turn left onto West Industrial Street then join Street 33 to reach their destinations.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
